Stock leaf spring load ratings.

Does anyone happen to know what the load rating is for oem leafs? Tsb or non-tsb.
I just want some idea.:D

The GAWR (gross axle weight rating) for the rear axle is on the tag on the driver's door frame, and would be the same for 3 and 4 leaf packs. Practically the 3 leaf packs fall short, but that's still the rating.

Once you're sitting on the snubbers the springs are kinda out of it.. GAWR has a lot more to do with tires and brakes than springs.
Per my trusty owners manual (for 2007 but info still in the ball park) for the double cab, short box, V6, payload is 1200LBS. Keep in mind the weight of the driver & passenger(s) sould be deducted from this figure.
IIRC, Payload is right around 1200 lbs, but you have to subtract passenger weight, fuel, and gear in the cab from that. So on average your payload should be right around 900 lbs.
