Has anyone ever try StopTech Axxis Ultimate brake pad. I read an article in Car and Driver and the review was pretty good on a 05 4x4. I wonder if this pad will work on my 06 pre-runner. I checked the Toyota website and both 4x4 and 4x2 brake size are 12.56" in diameter for an 06.

Haven't tried them (since I only have 8k miles) but it sounds like they will get the job done. I don't have a problem with my wheels dusting though. I'm curious to know what the dust level on those brakes are.

$80 is still WAY too much for brake pads. My ceramic ones for my Focus cost me that much and lasted well over 65k miles.
