I just received news that I will likely be going to Iraq in the next few months. I was curious if anyone had suggestions on where/how to store my vehicle. I am looking for something relatively economical, perhaps a place with a military discount :)

Thanks so much.

Oh, I am stationed in San Antonio.

I just want to thank you for fighting for our freedom & the freedom of others. :D I lived in San Antonio when I was a kid, my dad was stationed there in the Air Force. :chug:

When you find a good location just make sure that you have fuel stabilizer in your gas tank & disconnect your battery. You could also put the car on jack stands as to not flat spot the tires.

There are various ways you can store your car. I would leave very little gas in there with a stabilizer in there, change the oil, put the car on jack stands, and once a month have someone run the car and have the wheels turn and the A/C used and all that. That's basically what Toyota recommends.
