I foumd a strange cable tucked up in behind the dash on the passenger side. It appears to run up to the under side of the dash top. It has a connector on the end of it that I'm not familiar with.Is it some kind of diagnostic apparatus?

lol, well I have had a few MP3 players but never had an ipod so that would explain my ignorance on the identification of the cable. So if a previous owner had an ipod, how did they make it work if the radio doesn't have an aux selector?
are you running the stock head unit?
