I am in te middle requilding my card and I stripped the one screw that is right in between the barrels. I have figured out how to get the screw out, but I need to know where I can get a replaicment screw. By the way I have an 85 pickup 4x4.

So did you mash the slot on the top of the screw trying to get it out, or did you strip the threads in the actual carb?

If you have a good hardware store near you, you should be able to find a replacement screw there, or go to your local wrecking yard and see if you can find one there.

I just stripper the star on the top of the screw. I drilled out the head of the screw with a small drill bit and slowly increased until the the head came off. Pulled off the air horn and twisted the screw out with plyers. Man was that a pain in the but.

Thanks, I thought about doing that, but I wasn't sure if it had to be a special thread or something. I am going to go there today.
