I just stripper the star on the top of the screw. I drilled out the head of the screw with a small drill bit and slowly increased until the the head came off. Pulled off the air horn and twisted the screw out with plyers. Man was that a pain in the but.DCM said:So did you mash the slot on the top of the screw trying to get it out, or did you strip the threads in the actual carb?
Thanks, I thought about doing that, but I wasn't sure if it had to be a special thread or something. I am going to go there today.myyota said:If you have a good hardware store near you, you should be able to find a replacement screw there, or go to your local wrecking yard and see if you can find one there.
