While changing plugs, I broke the female contact off of one of the plug wires, and the contact stayed attached to the plug. Now, I can't get the plug out: the plug socket won't fit over the contact, and the plug is recessed to far for me to remove the contact from the plug. I might be able to get the contact off with extra long, extra narrow needlenose, or I might be able to find an extra deep plug socket...but I'm hoping I'm missing a more obvious (and convenient) solution. Any ideas?

i would try the needle nosed pliers, or get like a punch or something and try to pry it up....
try bud, it can be done.Dont let a machine beat ya. i would think about along the lines about what I know. Replicate what your problem is ouside the inaccessabel place. Look at the details and if a pliar does it - go for it. I think the that knob needs to come out.
