Hey guys i am trying to figure out a sub box to put in my 2006 acc cab. I want something that doesnt take up that much room but sounds good? I aint trying to make it sound loud just make it sound better. Any ideas?

I made a post asking about this one. I'm on the fence about installing a subwoofer. I recently removed the old factory POS HU and installed a new Pioneer 5900ib and it dramatically improved the sound..

but if i were to get a sub, that's the box I would go with..

Im not sure about that 8' sub but I know for a fact that a Bazooka 8' sub puts out some very good bass. But it cost a little more, as they say you get what you pay for!

jl is suppose to be coming out with a stealthbox for our trucks which would replace our center console for one with a 10" jlw3v3 in it ...no word yet on prices or pics yet but a guy on ct has been talking to a rep from jl and they said it has been tested and it sounds great and they should have some info soon

so an 8 inch sub (component sub) is not good for rap and hip hop? I like a lot of different kinds of music, but once in a while I like to listen to some good bassy rap like E-40. That's where I can tell the limitations of the stock setup..
