Currently I'm running 16x7 crown vic bbs wheels and I had to run 10mm spacers up front and I'm really not digging the idea of running spacers at all also I wana keep it close to a "stockish" look as far as wheels are concerned lol any pics and or ideas are welcomed and appreciated opinions good and bad also welcomed.

1999-2001 Lexus ES300s, 1999-2001 Toyota Solaras, 2000-2004 Avalons, all had optional, or standard, 16x6 alloy wheels (depending on sub model) ... with 16x6 black painted, steel spares, for all those cars, that came with the 16x6 factory alloys. Factory tire size was 205-60-16. The ES 300s got V rated spares, & the Toyota Avalons got H rated, spares ... in the same size (205-60-16). The alloy 16x6 will also fit 1998-2005 GS300/400 cars, just fine, (also delivering correct suspension geometry, to the GS gen2 cars, despite the narrower, wheel ...16x6 inch vs 16x7.5 inch) ,,,, but the 16x6 painted steels, will not fit The Gen-2 GS300/400 cars .... ( they will not clear the brake calipers )
There are 4 different styles, I know of, for the 16x6 factory alloy Toyota/Lexus wheels, and the one, unique, 16x6 steel, black painted "spare" wheel, that came on the Avalon, Solara, and ES300. Here is a photo of a 16x6 steel, factory spare, from a 2000 ES300, on a 1999 Avalon, (that came with 15x6 alloys). It makes for a very black, wheel & tire, combination. All this, simply for those who may want a different look, with a factory, Toyota product, wheel, that fits perfectly, with no tricks, no spacers, and identical suspension geometry, vs stock, for the Gen1 Avalon. Lug nuts, in this photo, are 1991-2002 factory chromed, Corolla lug nuts, that came with a 7 spoke, factory, steel wheel. All this, for the Toyota owner, who wants "pure factory Toyota product wheel parts." 2002 and beyond, for the ES300. Otherwise, the aftermarket, provides a lot of other wheel choices, for those who prefer that route.

Continued ... 2002, and beyond, for the ES300, and 2002 and beyond, for the Camry, Toyota/Lexus, started making wider wheels, which were,16x6.5 ,,, and thus the 16x6 disappeared, as it was last used, on the 2004 Avalon, as far as I know. The 16x6 fits the Gen 1 Avalon cars, extremely well, tho it was never used, on them, by the factory.

Here's a picture (below) of a 16"x6" ( factory optional ) 2000 model year Avalon 7 spoke, painted, alloy wheel, with a 205-60-16 tire, on a 1999 Avalon. It fits Gen1 Avalons perfectly. Gen1 and Gen2 Avalons, don't have alot of addl space, behind the wheel/tire, for wider wheels/tires, nor much additional space above the tire, for larger overall diameter tires ,,, So to make alot of (aftermarket) combinations work, pple have to play with... spacers, or different wheel offsets, for backside clearance, and lower profile tires, to fit, larger OAD tires... Probably most pple want aftermarket wheels for their Gen1 Avalons,,, but if you do prefer, Toyota product factory stock wheels, in a 16 inch size, ( instead of the factory 15 inch wheels, that came on all Gen1 Avalons ) then consider the 16x6 which came in 4 different styles, in the Toyota & Lexus lines (1999-2004) ... So maybe, that's something, a Gen1 Avalon owner, may prefer? Maybe? Maybe not?
