so my 4af carb started idling wierd today. hit the mcd's drivethrough and the idle started going a bit loopy. i know little to nothing about these vac hookups....so if someone can point me in the right direction that would be AWESOME

check all the lines for cracks. mainly around the carb. i think when my friend's car had a surging problem it was the tube that lead down to the cat that caused his problem. it had a hole in it at the coupler.

When you cut your wheel certain ways does it stop then get REALLY rough when you return it to dead center? Mine does this to. I'd also like an idea of how to trace these vaccum lines.

Check out the throttle positioner and all vac lines attached to it and leading to it for leaks.
