started bright and early on the truck ...well after some fucking around with some shit and what not. was going great until we hit the damn LCA bushings. only the rear ones gave us trouble though. the two front ones were mint but i drove over to tarbox toyota and dropped fucking 121 dollars on two new bushings and cam bolts. coming in 7 a.m. tomorrow morning so hopefully it will be all set tomorrow after noon. just have to mount up the diff. drop the sway bar. add the new crossmember. and pretty much just bolt shit up. we haven't touched the rear but knock on wood it should be fine. tomorrow will be another update. here are some pics.

update:

the truck is almost there. we got all the knuckles done but when it came to the drivers side LCA ball joint , we stripped the damn castle nut. so toyota didn't have it nor did napa. autozone has a new ball joint with the nut for 37 bucks so after work tomorrow we will pick up the ball joint and hopefully with any luck, finish the damn thing and go bring her home. i just got home from work so im mad tired. ill give a better write up tomorrow but here are some pics for now...

Question, I did not see the diff drop brackets in your kit, are they missing, or did you them in your photo op????? should be 2, one for each of the rearward diff mount.

Good job though. Reminds me of my Procomp lift install a few years back.

day 3 done and still no finished truck haha

got the front all done except for the sway bar and the shocks assembled... which might be a bitch becuase it looks like they gave us the wrong bushings... fuck heads. the rear was also a bitch and thats where we left off. 2 of the 8 lock nuts on the u-bolts want to lock too much and wont even spin with a 1300fpt snap-on impact gun. just have to fix those and get the truck allignened . so we shall see what happens tomorrow im beat and don't have much energy today so i really didn't feel like dealing with all the bull shit .

here are the pics

and this is how we all felt after 3 hours of being under the truck.... fuck that shit and give me a damn beer!
