Im about to put in a new 22re in my beast, tranny in it now is a blown out 85 with 345,000 and it snarls at me in 3rd 4th and 5th(Matching engine and tranny from stock). I have two other tranny's sitting at home an 84 and 82. Both are in excellent condition. My question is can i run the 84 5speed Tranny with my 85 22RE, even though the good tranny is pulled from a 84 22r?

You can run the 84 trans if you have and use it's t-case too.
