How easy is it to replace the front and rear sway bar bushings on a 1st Gen Avalon? Can it be done in the driveway?

I've been recommended to get polyurethane over rubber. Is there a huge difference in performance or just lifespan?

From what I've read the vehicle must be raised equally on each side. Is that correct?

Up front the backside bolt it kinda hard to get to. It just takes short turns to get it out other than that it shouldn't be that bad.

They're pretty easy to get to. The fronts are a bit harder because access is blocked a bit.

Can't answer your question regarding rubber Vs polyurethane.

Yes, it's highly advisable to raise both sides equally. If you don't, one side will have a lot of force pushing down, so when the last bolt lets loose, it'll jump down and might injure you. It doesn't have to be raised *perfectly* even, just reasonably so; within an inch or so.
