I have a Gen 3.5 (Camry 96) and I read through all the posts concerning the conversion of 9005 bulbs to fit the 9006 socket. I bought two twin packs of 9005 bulbs at Pepboys (on sale for $20 twin pack after rebates). I am concerned that the conversion might melt my harness. Can someone give me some inputs please? Thanks.

Thanks for the info Stealth. One more thing: where is the left/right knob to move the headlights left and right? I only saw the up/down one, which works for up and down. The other knob was white, but when I tried to turn it with a screwdriver, it broke off...

I tried turning that long white plastic screw sticking out of the back of the headlight but it broke off :( I try twisting it by hand but I guess I'm too weak and it won't budge.

OH DUDE! dont use a screw driver on that! i broke two of them already.... what you'll need to get is something like a 7mm ratchet set.... i just grabbed something that fit, and screwed it left and right untill it looked kinda normal on my camry at night.

to make it go left or right, on the top side of the headlight, theres a screw, it looks like a real screw! made of metal if you havent found it, it says "left/right" on it. behind the rail behind the headlight, theres a plastic thing to use the ratchet on it, that makes the headlight turn up and down.
