Hello,

Has anyone had the factory block heater installed on their Tacoma? I had mine installed along with other options, never really looked for it until the winter set in. I have looked a bit for it, can't seem to find it. usually there would be a plug near the front grill. Its a little cold out and was wondering if anyone has one on theirs, before I accuse the dealer of not installing it. Thanks for any help.

if you bought it in canada it shouldn't be an option...it should come standard. just get under your truck and follow the cord

They are not standard in all of Canada.

Check the pics posted in some of the DIY Block Heater threads for the FJ/Tacoma, etc, and you'll see where it goes (back of the engine, driver's side).

88 Supra Turbo, nice car. Hopefully I'll find out and plug that sucker in, its cold dog!! Don't really need a block heater around Nova Scotia but I checked it off on the option sheet anyway, might as well use it.
