I'm doing a 3.4 swap into my 91 4runner that already has an 85 straight axle that's locked and geared. I'm planning on using the Auto tranny from the 3.4 donor truck. My question is have anyone used the Inchworm or Marlin Crawler adapters to bolt the RF1A transfercase (4cyl transfercase) behind the Tacoma auto trans? I know most people who straight axle their 3.4 truck and 4runners use the Dana 44 or use the 5spd 3.0 manual trans, but I wanted an automatic tranny and prefer to keep my 85 axle.
