I've checked everything.. Whenver i turn my lights on in my 92 cam. all my lights turn on except my tail light. although when i go to brake my tails light up.. all of them. So when your riding behind me at night all you see is the small side rear markers that are red and nothing else untill i brake. I've switched tha bulbs tons of times. its not that i'm puttin in the bulbs that only have one light filament. i got tha correct bulbs that are supposed to be on and then get brighter then i brake. i just dont know whats goin on. i checked fuses what else is there to check...

Trunk light failure sensor? I have a freind that had a Camry that had that go out, and had similar problems, but then I don't know why the side markers would work...

Good Luck

What the problem is, if I am correct, is that you are using the single pole bulbs instead of the dual pole bulbs. Single pole will light up when you brake but will not show normal light when you turn your headlights on. So check to make sure you are using the correct ones.. 1156 vs 1157. I beleive the 56 are single pole and the 57 are the dual pole ones. I bet that fixes your problem

but you said you checked that so. hmm
