Hello Everyone;
I drive this 1995 Avalon, 130k miles. In most cases, this car is like human body....it corrects any problem that appear by itself in few days!:D

Anyway, my outside temp. display on the dash is not working anymore. I changed the outside sensor, that is in front of radiator, but no luck.

Would anyone please help me on this? Thanks a ton in advance!

Did you check the connections?

You could always pull out the dash and check the connections behind that plug into the computer and clock. Perhaps the lights are burned out.

if the problem is the display itself, it will be quite hard to replace the VFD display. I'd recommend you check fuses and all other connections first.

Also, no, there is no way to check inside temp.

Correct.

I have an extra VFD display but it reads in Celcius. (Canadian Car). UI have noticed on extreme changes in temp it will sometimes switch to Ferenhieght (sp) then back to celcius. I am not sure where it makes the conversion.

The OP's best option is to check an autowrecker to find one. New will cost a small fortune. The self serve wreckers are the best ones as the pricing is next to nothing for the parts. :thumbsup:
