Id like to hear some recommendations for music that tests the full range of a car stereo. Music that shows off highs and lows. some good music, any genre.

But none of this frequency test stuff that just goes from low to high.

Ill get it started

User - Yeah
Korn - Freak on a Leash
Coal Chamber - Tragedy

Did you want to test loud simple sounds?
Bass: Hip hop, anything "dancey"

Nothing, and i mean nothing can test the true clarity and quality of sound then classical, baroque or romantic period music....if you're into it, and if you have an ear for it, that is.

Hmm....

How about Orbital? I'm thinking of the song "Know Where to Run" off of "Middle of Nowhere". It's sort of electronicy electronic music. Pretty full-range.

Alternately, Symphonic Pink Floyd, perhaps? Brick in the Wall off that CD is nice.

basically any kind of progressive is good on a badass stereo. I recommend Dj Tiesto, Paul Van Dyke and as for hits in the house circuits "Sola" by Spiller, "magic love" by Bent. For a fun tune download "eminem vs spiller" by too many dj's

I think its spelled Chimaira, speaking of which, their new album "The Impossibility of Reason" is very good:thumbup:
Dying Fetus's album "Killing on Adrenaline" has crazy bass

And theres that song by 2PAC, I think its called "So many tears", its a great song to test your system
