The New Accord????

I'm surprised no one has posted this one yet, I know its a "concept" but...anyway I think its certainly an improvement over the current gen which should be a give in as its the "new and Improved." I like that its aggressive, although the front (grill) and somewhat of the profile remindes me of the Dodge Avenger in some respects, but otherwise this car holds its own. I like it!
With the current and previous gen Accord I wasn't really a fan of the 4-door but the 2-door is soooo sexy! I love the 2-door Accord I think it looks sharp (IMO).

What do you guys/gals think?

It is a concept so who knows what exactly the US will get.

Besides I like 4 door cars and I wanna see the preview of the 4 door one.

I have never liked the AMERICAN accords since 1998 when they SEPERATED it into TWO. One for the US/Australian market ??? and the smaller ORIGNAL version for the rest of the world.. Acura TSX here in USA.

I wish they had kept he original Accord as Accord instead of sending it here as the TSX and making a bigger car and also calling it Accord. :disappoin

Accords are nice but I like Camrys better.
I'd hit it. :naughty:

It goes back to the 98-02 Coupes with the edgy lines. I thought the current generation coupe became too soft and rounded.
Oh my gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! I love it!!!(Not better than Solara IMO)
"Hyundai called they want their Tiburon back." Hahaha...

Mitsubishi front+Pontiac G6 Rear+Tiburon body=not good. Did Honda not listen to their customers? Honda still freaking leave toooo much space in the back. and the car is boxy like Nissan. I hope the production model isn't boxy, that's for Nissan, ugly IMHO. Recent Accord Coupe was all smooth and nice.
Everyone has their style.

If you don't like, design the one you want and send it to Honda.

Is it just me or does the front look like a stretched Volvo? The rear resembles too much of the RL to be sporty. Then again, it's a concept but most concept designs are carried over to production.
i'm still undecided about the looks
I dont know if it looks good or not, i want to see the interior

Thats not a 2008 Tiburon. My bad:confused:

The 98-02 models in North America looked exactly the same as those elsewhere except that the North American version was bigger....I went to Hong Kong and saw a 98-02 Accord and thought WTF because it was so small. Honda needs the Accord in it's current size to compete with Camry, Altima, Fusion, etc. The mid-size car segment is a huge market here and Accord is a trusted name plate. Introducing a mid-size car using the Inspire name seems somewhat like marketting suicide since Accord and Camry have been competitors for the past 20 years or so.

The name is well known and it works, so there is no reason to change it.

thats what i thot. looks like 3 cars in one, doesnt flow at all
it looks like it should have 700,000 horsepower....at the wheels.

every ricer boy and girl in the world is going to be all over this thing. i love the way it looks, but it just doesn't look like a honda to me. i'd like to see the 4dr personally!
I'm loving it. Hopefully it looks something like this when it comes out

That might be exactly what they were going for!

That's a great looking car. It looks like they borrowed the ridgeline grill?

Yes I know.
Hmm I odnt know what to say about it..I'm split. They should just bring back the early 90s Accords
....... to much going on, typical honda always trying to out look every one. lol and it never works, want until the cam coupe comes out........
I agree Travis. And I am so tired of Honda making all their cars look like Acura rejects. This car looks like so many cars melted into one. And why does it seem like everyone sweats off Toyota. Now everyone is incorporating projectors into their cars??? What a big coincidence. Honda is so unoriginal but Nissan is worse. It amazes me how people bash Toyota for so many reason when IMO Honda and Nissan are as unrevolutionary as they come and make cars that definitely copy-cat everyone else. UGLY HONDA!
It will be interesting to see where they put the diesel engine, too. ONly the four door? Apparently, you can say bye bye Accord Hybrid.
