hi everyone. i am here not because i am a true toyota enthusiast, i am hoping to repair my wife's car(the family car). it is a 1998 toyota camry ce 2.2 5sfe - i learned that last part today. we have owned it since new, and it has been ultra reliable. except last saturday it ate the water pump, then chewed a timing belt to shreads. the wife hasn't stopped asking when the car will be ready to drive again. i'm sure that i'm in way over my head here, i just assumed it would be waaay too expensive to take to a dealer. so hello to everyone and i'm going to take a look around. jeff e.
