Hey everyone, I'm looking for the dimensions / thread specs of the Thermostat Housing Stud 90080-11540 or a non Toyota alternative for this stud. My local dealer says the part is unavailable, I ordered a replacement stud online but I would prefer to find a replacement locally if possible.

Did you break just one of the studs? If so, were you successful in extracting it without damaging the female threads?

If you still have one or two good studs in the housing, you can remove one of these studs and take it to a local hardware store to get it matched up to a proper replacement. Just just need to put two nuts on the exposed thread, tighten the two nuts together (so they lock the threaded stud to the nuts), then turn the nuts (together, if possible, otherwise just the top nut) and the entire stud should turn out.

Attached is a view of Toyota P/N 90116-06070 (which was superseded by 90080-11540) which Amayama.com (out of Japan) has - but they currently can't ship to the USA for some reason.
