hey every one im new to the corolla's and i know this may be a stupid ? but where do you find parts for the 90 corolla 4 door? im looking for a short throw shifter. and what about all the jdm parts? what can i do to get rid of the ugly black bumpers that stick out so horibly? do the JDM bumpers look better?

see i have a 94 paseo and its easy to find all this for it but ive done alot of searching for this 90 corolla and cant seem to come up with much over a short ram intake!

the shifters are the same for all ae82s and 92s regardless of body shape. TRD makes a shoft throw kit for your car, i have one, i like it. you can also make your own (no, dont just cut the lever). take apart the shifter, get the lever out of it, heat up the ball, put it in a vice, hit the ball with a hammer, so it moves up the shaft). do a search on twincam.info, theres a thread somewhere there for it. you can also fit a ae101 shift lever in it i believe, which works well, i think i saw that on the same site.

i personally like the jdm wagon front end on the sedans.

I like the wagon fronts also, I'm just not too fond of the square light look. Here's some pics of JDM and Euro fronts. JDM fronts pop up on ebay once a while, just don't get ripped off.

maybe i dont mind the square lights cause my ae82 is square too:lol: hell the wagon fronts are rounder then my lights!

i think sedans, with wagon fronts, dumped on nice rims with a good lip looks amazing.

thanks guys that was the kind of info i was looking for (not just paint the stock ugly one).

im a jdm freak i have hondas full jdm.

but now im getting back into the yota's. are there any known sites to get jdm parts for the AE92's? i know there are plenty of them for honda's.

thanks for the pics of the jdm bumps. for some reason i was having a hard time even finding pics of the jdm bumpers.
i like them all so i guess its time to chose witch one i want and find it.
i already know the swap im going with either the 20 valve silver top or the ZE.
my wife already has the sliver top in her paseo!

i have a 91 4door corolla LE, wich use the same bumper as the normal one, and the only difference is the fact that the bumpers are painted with a vinyl band sticked on it

and i still think that it look good
