That's right. If TenZen is to get it, he'd see turn signals and high beam light mixed up, tacho would probably get messed up too. I've seen these discussions a few times before and did my own research.
The change happened in 01 so yours fit just fine. Unless you mean you actually got a 01/02 cluster.
