The throttle sticks open sometimes when you go wide-open. Any Idea how to fix this? It's on an 81 toyota celica gt with a 5speed btw. (carbed) Thanks,

check your throttle linkages. That is a common problem with all of the carbed celicas. INstead of using a cable Toyota made it with a whole bunch of linkages. However Weber makes a throttle cable conversion kit that will solve this. I actually just ordered one for my 81.

Could it also be gummed up or rusty linkages? Maybe try cleaning all of the linkages with a degreaser like simple green and then lubing them.
