I drove the Corolla around a bit this weekend and noticed a thumping noise. It seems to be based on speed. It's not very loud, but can be felt from the front end of the car from low speeds. It disappears above 45 mph (I assume because the thump rate increases enough that it's no longer distinguishable).

I haven't gotten the car up on stands yet. Does anyone know what I should be looking for?

- CV joints?
- Axles?
- Wheel bearings?

The struts and tophats are fairly new. I don't think it's suspension related. I also don't think it's engine related or transmission related.

New tires are going on Thursday. The current tire are quite worn. Hopefully that will fix the issue. :)

From what I've read on various automotive forums, signs point to a bad wheel bearing.
