Hi all! I'm new to this forum; my girlfriend has an 06 Slolara SE 4 cyl. She loves the fact that I am a mechanic and enjoy hooking-up cars & trucks, and has asked me to spice hers up a bit, but I'm a little stumped when it comes to what to do to her car (my searches for performance parts have come up nil so far).
I want to do three subtle mods to her car: a stainless cat back exhaust, a cold air intake, and install fatter tires on the stock aluminum rims (she has the 215/60-16s now). Has anyone done any of these mods to the 4 banger? Where did you find the parts? I can and do make nice custom exhausts where I work, but I always like to install a kit whenever possible. The same goes for the intake; I see a few nice kits for the V6, but nothing for the 4, and though I'm sure I could design something, thats really something I'd rather leave to the pros. The tire size I wanted to go up to is 235/55-16; have any of you gone bigger with the stock rims? Will these rub without spacers?
