Hey peeps,

The timing mark on my block looks like a 22r, buy my head is definitely a 20r. I need to know where to line up the timing groove. I see only one hose coming from the distributor. So with the distributor hose plugged, it should be at 8 degrees before? Some posts show/say 0 degrees. What if my block is a 22r? Does that matter? The head is definitely a 20r because I looked at the exhaust manifold, and it has round holes. I think there is only one timing groove and it should be set to 8 before, but I would like to know for sure. My book for a 20r says 8. BTW, it's a carburetor engine. Thanks.
