How much can I expect to pay for someone to replace my timing belt for a 1990 3.0L, any ideas? Thanks.
That's too high, find a local community college/vocational school where they will fix it for free, you provide parts.Or find a friend, relative, neighbour or co-worker and trade services or buy them a case of beer. Also local off-road clubs would have tons of experience on replacing these parts and would charge less.superfluid said:Thanks for the info.
I live here in the Northwest, near a major metropolitan area. The quote I got was for the 'Timing kit' which includes the idler bearing and belt, and the water pump for $700. He didnt mention the front engine seals, is that something that would typically be done with the pump?
