Hey Guys,
I'm new to this forum, I usually hang out in the Tacoma section.
My neighbor needs a timing belt change on his 2002 Highlander V6.
Does anyone have any experience with this job? Here are my areas
of concern:
Crank Bolt Removal: Are there any tricks to keep the engine from turning
while breaking the bolt loose? Are impact guns sufficient
to break the nut loose without holding the engine?

Belt Tensioner: I read online that a tool is needed to hold the timing belt
before the tensioner pin is released, is this true?

If anyone has any experience with this, the info would be appreciated, thanks!

FYI: If you are interested in purchasing OEM parts, I do offer 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus $1.00 - $2.00 for materials, etc. I am also here for information whenever I can help. If you have any questions, etc, don't hesitate to contact me.
