So I'm kinda a small car guy who's only slightly mechanically inclined. A friend of mine needs his timing belt and water pump replaced on his '02 tundra. I know my corolla inside out and backwards and if this thing is fairly straight forward like my 4afe and my 4age I shouldn't have any issues......Problem is I know no backyard mechanicin' job is ever fairly straight forward.... What should I know before I start taking stuff apart? Any tips, tricks, dos, or don'ts I should be aware of. Also anyone have any links to a step by step walk-through or a pdf of the how to in the shop manual? (I know, I know good luck, right....) I couldn't find any threads on TN with much of anything on diys for tundra timing belts and a good walk-through or shop manual is always nice to have.
