We had this warning and checked the tire pressure, was 24 lbs. Set them to 28 lbs.
5 Days later we see the tire pressure warning.

Could this be a false reading?
Or should there be more than 28 lbs cold?
Check the driver's side door pillar for recommended inflation pressures. I think 28 is ok but you should also make sure the car knows your intended pressure. You do this by inflating all the tires to the cold pressure you want and then resetting the tire monitoring ECU. There is a button sort of hidden in the glove compartment to do this. Check the owners manual for the exact procedure. After the ECU is reset and any tire drops more than 5 (?) lbs below that the warning light goes on.
