Winterforce M+S
245/75R16

Purchased the tires through TireRack back in December and I have to say these are awesome tires. I have them studded because in Central New York we encounter some pretty harsh winter. Very good tires in the snow, and really shine on ice because of the studs. Surprisingly they perform pretty well in wet conditions. A lot of people say studded tires can be worthless then, but these aren't bad. However, when the roads are just sand and salt after a storm, these tires can slip a little under acceleration, but it makes for some fun powerslides. Noise wise, they have a noticeable hum on the highway but I think that is attributable to the studs more than to the tires. All and all, I know its a little late for a winter tire review, but whatever these tires rock.

I have the same tires, same size, and studded. I have been pleased with them too, always traction and nice for the ice. I've noticed they can give nice powerslides too. I'd definitely recommend them. I mounted the tires on the stock Toyota 16" steelies. I have the stock Sport tires for the summer.

I gave winterforce a plug in a post a while back.
I also have same size (studded) and think they are awesome.
You do get a little rougher ride.
But, for only around 400.00 for the studded set, incl. sh&h, I think they were were well worth the money.
Kudos to Tirerack.
One thing I want to add is that I use extra caution (and common sense) when engaging/using 4wd to avoid the dreaded "binding", because they have alot of grip.
Honestly, I have to admit I am using 4wd way less than expected this winter with these tires. I found I really didn't need to be in 4 that much unless the roads were real bad.
Anyway, thats my 2 cents. :)

While I've made switch to studless snow tires, and most likely will not go back to studded, those winterforce are the best bang for the buck out there. $66 unstudded/$81 studded. Have 3 friends running them, both types. For those in real snow country, its easily the best 'mod' you can invest in...
