I have an 89 standard cab 4x2 22r.

It came with Michelin Rainforce passenger vehicles on it, I ran them at 35psi all around. 195-75R14

I just bought a set of 215-70R14 Mastercraft Avenger G/T's, when they put them on, they aired them up to 40psi.

The sidewall on the MCs say max 44psi, the door says 32 frond 35 rear.

Will I be doing any damage leaving them at 40?

Since the sidewall says a max of 44 psi, I'm guessing 40 psi will do the tires no harm.

They may wear funny, though (maybe the center of the tread will wear a bit faster than the edges will).

Just guessin'
