Car: 1998 Honda Accord

Tire: Kuhmo MX

Size: 215/45/17, treadwear 220, Z rated

Pros: Amazing dry weather traction, and extremely cheap.

Con: Bad wet traction, and fairly loud

Buy again?: Yes and no. If they are going to be only for street driving, they are great. If the car will see any track time I would go for some more expensive Bridgestones.

Pros: CHEAP! SOOOOO CHEAP! Got mine for like $500 less than the Toyo T1-S. High UTQG treadwear rating (320) for a performance oriented tire. Pretty good dry traction. Havn't had a chance to use them in the rain. Good entry level Z rated tire. Don't have much to compare to, but the sidewall seems pretty stiff.
Cons: Tire sidewall rubber is a brown colour. [email protected]/tire.
Buy again? If I'm on a budget, for sure.

Pros/Cons: only one con... when cold, the tend to follow road irregualrities. Pro you name it, price(I payed $51 each, Tirerack), performance, making noise as you approach the edge, stiff sidewalls for quick turn-in, good to great wear.
Buy again? If I knew the new Yokahama ES100 were not so... yes I'd buy another set.

Name of car: AE86
Brand of tire/Name of tire: Nokia Hakkappellita "Q"

Pros: The best multicell pure snow tire
Cons: snowtire... crap in anything but snow
Buy again?: You bet! I live in nePa, we get 80" on average. Got myself a poor weather car(86 SAAB 900 beater($75) but will put these tires on for this coming snow...

Pros: FANTASTIC, true rail expereince
Cons: you must 'trust' them, they don't make a lot of noise
Buy again?: Only wish I could

Name of car: 2000 Camry CE 4cyl 5spd
Brand of tire: Yokohama Avid T4
Specs: 195/70/14 90T

Pros: Excellent tire for $42 each at TireRack. Reasonably firm sidewall, at moderate to slightly excessive speeds will corner well and grip on both dry and wet pavement. Extra bonus is if the angle of the wheel is right, mashing the throttle just after apex causes the outside wheel to grip like a mother, allowing one to sharpen a corner and correct understeer.

Cons: Harsher ride. Not unbearably so, just noticeable. Somewhat loud going over cracks and whatnot. Average in snow/ice conditions. You cannot drive like a madman or even slightly misadjustedman in snowy conditions.

I would definitely buy these again.

Size of tire/Speed rating: (215/40/16) 86W
Pros/Cons: Pretty impressive dry traction, its hard to tuck-in and get the tail to slide alittle even on bald rear 512's. Predictable breaking point, with usually enough traction left to correct. Horrible in the rain under 50% tread, EXTREMELY loud if alignment is not zero'd, poor ride quality.
Buy again? Maybe

Cons: cheap pep boy tires that are 35 bux a pop, poor thread design, not really gripping tires

Brand of tire/Name of tire:Hankook Ventus HRII
Size of tire/Speed rating:215/45/17 H-Rated

Pros/Cons:pro-The Ventus HR II is an ultra-low profile radial with a wide footprint for aggressive handling on tight turns and better performance on wet roads. The stylish unidirectional grooves enhance steering stability, rapid drainage, and reduced rolling resistance. AMAAAAZING in wet and dry, its even hard to spin the tires! I recommentd them to everyone. Amazing treadwear, price, and quality.. Cons- nOne!!!

Name of car: 1997 Camry V6 5-speed
Brand of tire/Name of tire Falken Zeius Xi-326 (Les Schwab only I think)
Size of tire/Speed rating: 205/65/15, 'R' I believe.
Pros: Grip like freaking hell, VERY predictable (they squeal very softly, and you have to go a lot past that to loose traction, they don't just break free), great on dry, great on wet, rated as M&S (they don't look it) I paid $380 INSTALLED for the tires!!!
Cons: I 'think' they could be quieter on the freeway, thats it.
Buy again? - Yes, in a heartbeat.

Car: 1995 Acura Integra GS-R (5-speed)
Tires: Falken Azenis Sports 205/50/15
Pros: Excellent track tire if you don't want R-comps. Some complain that after a few laps, they get greasy...but part of that is overdriving the tire in my opinion. The sidewalls are extremely stiff and allow for great turn-in response. However, my absolute favorite thing about the tire is the sound. No, I'm not saying it sounds cool. Instead, the tire has 2 distinct sounds...a high pitch squeal and a low pitch squeal. The high pitch one is normal during track events, but if you push them too hard, they'll suddenly change to a much lower, and frankly, scary sounding pitch. If you hear that, slow down! You're going to lose it if you don't!
Cons: Don't use them in the winter. Treadlife isn't great, but it's a performance tire, so who cares. They're also somewhat loud, I don't like them as a daily tire.

Name of car: same as above
Tires: Dunlop Sport SP5000 Asym, 205/50/15/ Z-rated
Pros: The best all-season tire I've driven, hands down. It's relatively quiet, has great wet and dry traction, and can even be used on the track and not totally give out on you. It's the best track tire, but it works. I use this as my daily tire, and change to the above tire for most events.
Cons: It's a little expensive, but considering I've gotten about 50k miles on my current set (about to replace soon though), it's worth it. I've heard many stories of them lasting only half as long though.

Name of car: same again
Tires: Nitto 450 195/50/15
Pros:...none
Cons: loud, no grip, they're junk. That's all I'm going to say.

Pros/Cons: High tread wear rating for a summer tire - 320 while kumo 712 is rated at 280. Not expensive @ 135 cnd each. The only time I can make this tire squel is on the track and solo 2 when I am pushing it as hard as I can.

Buy again? My first ever summer tire, love them, I beat a couple rsx-s and celica's from 0 to 80 clicks under raining conditions... so cool........ haha... would recommend it and would buy again. To see an RSX-s lose to a stock corolla except for tires and intake is priceless!
