You'll be fine. Worst case scenario the warning light comes on. In which case you go home or wherever and park your car next to the stock wheels with the TPS for a few minutes.
ill just get that hazard light blinking or what not? more then it blinking i was afraid that thing was gonna beep like the seat belt buzzer but yeah. thanks bro
The light just illuminates. I drove 6 mi with a flat tire and the light on (flat tire in the trunk).

It may not illuminate at all. Some people here don't have the TPS at all on aftermarket wheels and they're just fine.
oo well im planning to drive like 100+ hahaha so no drawbacks besides not knowing when ur tires deflated eh. sounds good to me
It's no big deal. You'll be fine. I've been through multiple set of wheels and I've never installed the TPMS in any of them.
o niceee. thanks for the look out fellows. i just wanna test some waters of the rims i had on my accord. o and also im probably gonna get new rims later but what tire size should i go with if i get 18"'s and whats a good offset so i dont rub? also im lowered on the TRD springs if that plays a role.
G
stock on an SE is 215/55-17 TRD 18" Rims recommend 225/45-18 tires

thats just 10mm wider and less sidewall , but will keep your speedometer accurate.

Go to tirerack.com for a tire education
Switched to my winter wheels/tires 2 weeks ago and haven't had the light come on yet.......

How far do you drive at a time?

I've found that if I drive under 50 miles and in under an hour, the TPMS light does not come on, and if I stop for say 10 minutes and then drive another 50 miles, it still wont come on. However whenever I've driven over 50 miles in one shot, the light has come on.
What are the width/offset selections you can choose from?

10-40 miles at a time.

Last winter it would come on once or twice a week.
After the TPMS wasn't compatible with my first few sets of rims, I just decided to ditch them.

well i dont have any picked out but i was just wondering to get a rough idea about what offset, width i should be looking at. and also the tire sizes. but i shoulda asked after i narrowed some of it down
