so its been a little while since our last offical get together so i figure ill get one started for march...weather should be broken by then and we might have some decent weather!
same schedule as our other meets...meet up, hang out a bit, grab some food and shoot some pics...im very familiar with the area so i know of plenty of locations for good pics...we might do a cruise as well if everyone is down!
date: Saturday March 15th, 2008
time: 12 noon
location: the mall in columbia, 10300 Little Patuxet Parkway, Columbia MD 21044
well be meeting up in the SEARS back lot....not the lot facing the cheesecake factory, but the other side

sounds nice lets shoot closer towards the end of march, all my mods would have be done by then!!!!
^ i cant wait to see it man.

im dizzown. but i really an hesitant to do it in columbia. police there are REALLY bored and need little excuse to harrass people, and mall security is a bitch there too. unless things have changed im affraid wed get shooed away. but the location is still good.
columbia malls pretty busy on saturdays... you should move it to columbia lake... just a thought
I work on saturdays or i'd come :p.

thats actually what we had discussed a while back as far as a photo location, but that would be a nice spot.

I work on saturdays or i'd come :p.
take off work, i want a ride in a modded s2k damnit.
yeah come to think of it that location might not be best....

anyone have any better ideas for locations? cause i sure dont
The Burtonsville shopping center where the Amish market is located is pretty empty with a huge parking lot
ha, you should all drive to where me and Mud are :)

Oh and mud, if you want to meet up and ride in the 2k just ask fool! But i'll be expecting some CP hoochies being thrown my way :).
DONE

the only problem with burtonsville is well ahve to see if they are having their muscle car show there the same day, they usualy have them at that location but i cant remember if its saturday or sunday they do it.

i do really like the idea of the waterfront in columbia, its usually pretty empty and we shoudlnt be to bothered if we were there. i do know of a great place in Lanham but its a little out of the way for a few. if anyone has sen it its a large parking lot behind the new homedepot there, and i mean huge with no reason to park back there cept for a car meet:lol:.
i think we should just have a hoochie meet in CP and just happen to bring cars :)
im down for whatever....im just ready for another meet since we havent had a true meet since november
i still cant believe ur a mod!!!!

i think the lake front in columbia would be a good spot.
specific location set.
sears back lot, facing the columbia office buildings, not the cheesecake factory and movie theatre
cool cool... hahaha... like it matters for me... i'm still up in the new england area... has its benefits tho... get to see other cars

Have fun at the meet, and Chuck better show up to keep that one Gen6 in the group... hahaha
Also Corey, just a suggestion... get an aerial shot of the mall with the lot highlighted for ppl
Heys guys I'm new to this "meet" thing and I'm not too sure where everyone lives, but a spot where it would be good is in Frederick area at the Frederick Keys minor league baseball stadium. There is a side parking lot or even the main parking lot that are completely empty. I've seen a WRX meet there once. I'm not sure if you have to ask permission to meet their though. Their first game is Saturday, April 4 which is a good bit of time away so we would have time to make set a date where everybody could come. This would also give me time to get my car painted, get my wheels on, and hook up my sound system. I definately won't get all that done by March 15th. There would be one drawback though. In Frederick there is pretty much nothing around. No major attractions so "cruising" would be very limited. Historic Frederick would probably be the only place to do that but even that will be short lived.

****Just throwing this out there...does anybody know a guy named Travis (don't know his last name) that paints cars in the Rockville area. He either works at a shop or has his own "shed looking" hut where you paint cars. This guy I bought rims from loves that fact that I have a Toyota (since he has a Scion) and offered to hook me up with a show car paint job for around $600 not including body work that I need. I would ask the guy I bought the rims from but I would rather get a hold of the painter himself and talk to him. If this helps he painted this guy Moises' Scion tC

Fuck driving to frederick.
Fuck driving to frederick.
Chill with the language, man... especially with a new member... Going on 270 isn't bad for a cruise, nice and straight...

But yea, more central... best for everyone
Fuck driving to frederick.
no need to jump down his throat. fredrick is a little far, thats why we decided on columbia as a good central point. its got lots of FOOD which is so important to our meets and theres plenty of places to go as well as a some good cruise routs. though its still a little drive for a fredricker.
