My dad has a 1990 ext. 4X4 that he said i could have if I wanted to fix it up. The truck is older, but still runs pretty good. Rate now it needs th following:
Windsheild
E-brake
brake lines
MAster cyclinder for the brakes
The truck has some minor rust round the doors and needs a paint job. It has bout 450,000 on the motor. let me know if you think it is worth fixing. Thanks.

it's always worth fixing if it is free. Why not? You can't get a Toyota like that for cheaper than the parts and time you put into it.

Well, it depends on the history of the truck. If it was abused all its life, it might be best to sell it. If it has been treated good, proper matinence done. And if you like it, fix it up! Its nice driving a truck that you fixed up yourself.

I would say fix it. I think your dad took care of that truck coz it lasted for 450,000 on the motor. Its still running right?
The body rusts and brakes should be fixable.

You got a great first base coz your getting it for free not like the rests of us. hehe...
