Finally got my shocks in, couldn't have come at a better time also since I just discovered that my stock rear shocks gave out like a bunch of sissies. After I get new strut boots for the rear since they are torn, I wanna get install them along with my Eibachs before Spring semester starts on Jan. 9. We'll see about pics ;)

i still have 70k mile warranty on my current tires so it wont be until i need new tires before i start considering rims again. those hyperblack evo5s would be killer...i envy your bronze :)

can't work with inserts. i have a 2000 camry
nice, you should try to see if you can get new strut mounts as well, then it'll really be an easy swap and everything will be new.
That's great.

I've had my struts for a while now, just got the rims today. I'm just waiting to get some money for the springs and then I'll do it all at once.

Though, I think I might put the rims on first. I can't wait to see how they look on the car, plus I'll want to get the springs even faster when I see the huge gap I'm going to have.
let us know how it rides, i plan to get the same set up with GC coilovers and a camber kit.
haha, I was going to say keep the stock rims and tires for winter, but I see you live in Texas... not a lot of snow there im guessing:lol: my rims just sit in my dorm room and look gorgeous til april :(

cant wait to see the drop man!
^yea haha. its the freaking middle of december and we hit 81 degress yesterday and today was really beautiful, i went out with a tshirt and shorts.
that makes me want to cry :sosad: haha

lucky punk
you gonna install it your self.?

as mentioned, get the strut mounts replaced with the NEW model strut mounts by toyo.

you can get the fronts for $60 each and the back ones for $50 each. It'll make the swap easier and it'll make your suspension upgrade complete. I'm sure cash is tight but last thing you would want to have to do 6months down the road would be to tear the suspension apart again to replace the mounts. Just a thought. Definitely let us know how it rides when you're done.
im not too worried about the mounts going out, they only got about 58k miles on them. i know alot of people that dont change them when they do suspension and have been fine for awhile. do people on this board even change them along with the struts?
I did mounts, boots struts and springs all at once, but my car also had 138000 miles on it when i made the swap- i would think youd be ok for a while
wow, you must have got better shipping than i did, cause didn't you order them after i ordered mine? anyway, mine are supposed to come on the the 3rd, so hopefully i'll be able to get back to work on my car.
awesome make sure you update w/ pics
