torque # for oil drain nut?

what is the torque number (ft-lb) For the oil drain nut for a 97 camry 4cyc

The torque spec for this is "TFAR" - That feels about right.

Please don't confuse this with "OSTWTF" - Oh shit, that was too far!

Seriously though, touching + about 1/8 to 1/6 of a turn.

Tfar - best measuring definition yet. The lesson in how tight is TOO ^&%#@&!! TIGHT is when you do your first oil change after the neanderthal moron at jiffy lube tightened the drain plug to about 900 ft. lbs.
more important the bolt torque is remember to use a new crush washer.

Good point.

Since I never remember to have a new one available I just completely clean the old washer, lay a small sheet of sandpaper on the bench and sand both sides to remove any scoring.
