Hello all. New member and love the fora. I've been researching the 08 Camry/Corolla/Matrix tow capacities. Oddly, 2.4 l 4 cyl and 3.5 l V6 are rated for Camry at 1000 lb only. Corolla and Matrix, at a 1.8 l 4 cyl is rated for 1500 lbs?

Can anyone tell me why, or can this be a typo on the Camry spec sheet? (Check it out for yourself at www.toyota.ca )

Beats me but toyota ought to know - i hate to be a stick in the mud but if you were going to be towing stuff more than once or twice, id rent or buy a truck because a Camry really isnt made for towing is it -
