Hey Guys,
I have an 1993 Townace super Extra. The car got central lock and I wanted to upgrade a remote for that. I installed the Remotebox and everything was working...as long as I don't close the Door. When I close the Door I can still use the Remote to Lock the Car but Unlock is not working, I can only unlock it with the Key. I figured out, that even the unlock Button in the driversdoor panel is not working as long as the Car is locked and the Door is closed, when the Door is open everything works fine, the Button and the Remote. I think Toyota invented this as a "safety feature" or so.
Is somebody here who had the same Problem and solved it? Or somebody who knows how to handle that?
