Toyota '89 Automatic trans. Lift kit?

Hey , I just got my brothers 89 automatic toyota pickup. The thought came to my mind to install a 2-3" lift kit on her and Iwas wondering if anyone knew if it was possible. I would appreciate any help or suggestions you might have. Thanks. :)
