Hey everyone so I have a 93 Toyota Corolla and I drove it to work one day and when I went to start it again it was dead no light or anything. Changed the battery, alternator, spark plugs, main relays, starter x2, and tested ground cables in between battery and starter.
The car now lights up but when you turn the key it gives one click that’s it.
I have also tested the transmission switch and tried to start it in neutral.I’ve also tested and made sure the engine wasn’t locked up. It isn’t. Any ideas or help?
only thing I can figure is I think I bought a 1.6l starter instead of a 1.8l starter. Would That matter?

Looking at several sites like this one (below) it appears the starter for the 1.8 and the 1.6 are the same.
Sounds like a bad starter solenoid. Just because a part is new doesn't always mean it's good especially when it's an electrical components. With what you've done it's possible it could also be in the ignition switch.
I'd start by checking the battery voltage.

Where did you get the new parts from? OEM or retail store like AutoZone? I didn't see fuses listed in your items tested/replaced. Were the fuses good?

What condition are they key and ignition switch in? The previously mentioned issue of no lights or anything makes me wonder if it's related. Does your CEL go through it's check? It's also possible a capacitor or two in the ECM are bad.
