Toyota Extra Care Platinum Warranty

I have long delayed the purchase of Toyota Extra Care Platinum warranty for my 2007 4Runner SR5 4WD. I am glad I did because 8 year warranty was not offered back then in 2007.

I just hang up the phone with Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota. I bought my 8 years 75,000 miles warranty for $709. He is very friendly and prompt. I highly recommend him.

Here is the dealership information:

Good luck, who else is out there looking.

You paid 709.00 dollars for a battery ???, that`s unbelievable. :confused::confused::confused: :disappoin:disappoin:disappoin
I think he means that the only thing that will go out on your 4Runner will be the battery and he thinks it's silly you got the warranty.
For some people its a matter of "Peace of Mind". They are not mechanical and don't want to work on their rigs. Or if by some chance something big happens, you are covered.

with all of the electrical crap or comfort features (however you view it)....things will go wrong and will be muxh more expensive than 20 years ago.
I got it on my '04 back in the day and am glad I did. after a few month of owning it I noticed a clunk in my drivers seat whenever I braked. It ended up being a bad seat frame assy. If I didn't have the warranty it would of cost me over $600 just for the part, so I am glad I had it.
It can pay for itself

Between a leaky X-Reas shock and the driver's seat replacement, the Platinum warranty has now paid for itself.

S0- it can be a wise purchase and doesn't take much in repairs for it to be a wise purchase.
