Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Toyota customer service representitives. I had e mailed them over a month ago. They told me they would look into the matter and get back to me.... well its going on 5 weeks no response. This is unacceptable- where I come from customers come first and if they dont you wont be around in the future. It was a simple question, had to do with my current issue of the rear suspension bottomming out even with NO LOAD and two guys in the cab - to me it is a safety issue and besides that its hard on other parts to be hitting down like that on your bump stops. Not impressed with my first new Toyota- its an 08 doublecab 4wd.:disappoin

I have called Toyota Customer Service twice about a serious issue I had at the time. I was assured twice (once each call) that I will be contacted by my dealer as well as the regional service manager. And also that the Customer Service Center will contact me again to confirm that everything was resolved to my full satisfaction.

This all happened about 1.5 years ago.

I am still waiting ..... :kookoo:

Hope this helps with what to expect, LOL! :thumbdown

if you want to force the issue? bring it to the dealer for warranty repair (which means paperwork and documenting the issue). after a few unsucessful fix visits.... initiate a lemon-law return. i'm sure they'll fix it with the tsb, before returning your money....

oops.... just noticed "canada".... i don't know anything about lemon laws, in canada....

Don't rely on email...too much mail gets flagged as spam and can get deleted w/o ever being viewed.

On the other hand if you call and actually talk to someone, that is unacceptable. Your best bet....go to the dealer in person.
