I just got mine in the mail today.

Both Vol 1 & 2 from EBay and I swear, these are awesome.
Nothing compares. I bid $41.

If you ever approached your Cam with any tool, get a set of these. Highly recommended. Better than Porn.

Now if I can find those CDs so I can get the parts listing like you see the guys at the dealership have....yeah.

hhmmmm... I paid $7.50 for a chilton manual. And it has given me everything I have ever needed.

You mean those programs where they just click through to the part they want, and it tells them what it is and all that stuff?

EDIT: Do you have some pics of these manuals? I might also be interested in them and wonder what I should search for:)

Toyota service manuals are to Chilton manuals as Mercedes is to Yugo.

The wiring diagram (another seperate book) is as thick as a Chilton's. Each of the two volumes is twice as thick.

You got a hell of a deal, amerikim.

I dont have pictures but they are black and green, full size. No page numbers, uses chapters for page markings, cannot estimate. I think you can find them on ebay. I got a Chiltons too but that is going in the trunk of the car. It's okay, but does not begin to compare to the factory manuals. This is everything in detail for the model year. These are what Toyota techs use. You can find them on EBay sometimes for a good price. Saw someone offering a set for $25 once but I was too slow. Typically I think going rate is around $90 if you can get it.
The software I am trying to get is what the parts counter uses, you can zoom in on locations and get part numbers on individual components. With that you can mail order the exact right parts. I have spent a couple of thou on my car in the last few months fixing all the crap associated with a used car. Besides wheels and tires, include missing interior caps for access panels, plastic caps for bolts, trim strips and fasteners. Also blown bulbs. Standing at a dealers counter sorting through the mess just to be told its not in stock just sucks, wasted time. I get part numbers too in the manuals but something about point, click and zoom is great.
