Hi,

I live in Japan and was owner of a Nissan car. Now I am changing the car with a TERCEL VX (1500CC) - of 1997.

Lookwise, I find it very similar to CORSA (that one of my friend has).

Curious to know what is the difference between TERCEL and CORSA. Anybody knowing it is requested to educate me thru this forum.

By the way, how is TERCEL itself (yet to decide the car)?

The tercel and Corsa are, for all intents and purposes, the same car...
I beleive the only differences are some minor cosmetics... i.e. tail lights and whatnot.

The Tercel itself is reliable grocery getter w/ some goood potential.


Being in Japan, you should relatively easily find access to a few good engines that will drop in there fairly easily.

What engine do you have in there now?

I don't know what engine they have inside the car but what this question means though?

Do you know the specification of Tercel VX (1997)? Somewhere I find the outside is 4115 x 1660 x 1370 (L x W x B) all in mm. Any idea about the inside or the capacity of the gas tank etc etc.

Any pointer to these information is highly appreciated.

the gas tank holds 10.9 gallons. you will have to convert that to your metric standard of measurement.

You have the 5E-FE DIS.

You need to hook up with the Starlet GT guys over there in Japan and get a 4E-FTE in that mug.
