Toyota TIS Techstream+ Honda HDS+ Volvo Vida Dice compatible tool

This is my first post on this forum. Hope I do not break any rules. I'm not a Toyota guy, but have a question that you guys might help me with.

I'm into Volvo's and planing to buy a fault code scanner compatible with the factory diagnostic system. Its about 700usd. In my search I came over this:

Most Volvo guys thinks it's crap, but no one have ever tried it. Does any of you have any experience? Can it do everything a factory system could do? How is the build quality?
