Toyota is bringing three of its most rugged vehicles available some off-road specific upgrades, and has revaled all three TRD Pro models at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

The Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner are the vehicles in question, and each will receive the same group of enhancements along with some model-exclusive new features. Powertrains remain untouched, with all of the add-ons coming to the suspension, interior and exterior.

Every single TRD Pro equipped vehicle will feature TRD Bilstein shocks with remote reservoir, TRD-tuned front springs, front skid plate, a unique grille with a large Toyota badge in the center. All three of the vehicles feature a lifted front end, with the Tundra and Tacoma jumping up by 2 inches while the 4Runner gets jacked up by 1.5.

On the inside, TRD themed floor mat and shift knobs are fitted, while the exterior features a new shade of orange known as ‘Inferno,’ along with black wheels. Black and Super White exterior paint finishes can also be had.

On to the specifics. If you purchase a TRD Pro Tundra, there are a number of enhancements that Tacoma and 4Runner buyers won’t get. The first is 18-inch alloy wheels along with TRD Pro stamping right into the quarter panel. Tundra TRD Pro buyers will also get unique interior seat color along with exclusive instrument panel ornamentation.

Next, the TRD Pro Tacoma, which Toyota playfully refers to as the Taco Supreme, gets exclusive 16-inch beadlock wheels and a TRD exhaust.

Lastly, the 4Runner TRD Pro, known as the Rock Star 4Runner, gets an additional 1-inch of wheel travel along with new 17-inch all black TRD wheels. Black front and rear bumper accents complete the new look.

Expecting Raptor killer, came disappointed. But that grill looks nice.

It's definitely the best looking new body Tundra. Basically the new Rock Warrior, cool, I'm down to buy one in a year or two. Depending on pricing obviously. Hopefully it won't be as much as the Limited's.

It's more of a trim than a grade level, so it isn't likely going to make it more than a Limited because you aren't getting any luxury items.

how come they don't use same tires for all three? are they suggesting the taco is the most offroad worthy? they shouldve blacked out the 4runners racks or use the fjcruiser's. would be nice if they include a winch, but yotas don't get stuck so its pointless haha

The TRD Pro Tundra comes with Michelins?! Not even BFGs. I saw that last night and thought Hmmmm.....

And I can't even tell what tires are on the 4Runner. They don't look very aggressive though.

Maybe thats because they know they won't get stuck

Yes you do! They're no limited to 5,000 units so they won't sell out like the Camry SE Hybrid lol
Lol you're right. This is going to turn into a great selling trim just like the Rock Warrior.

To be fair you don't need gobs of supercharged power in off roading. You just need a very confident suspension system. No doubt TRD makes decent parts but one can build the same if not better with other parts for less money.

most serious off-roaders have or buy a beat up toy to mod for off-roading anyway

Yup, nobody buys a $40K pickup truck to be beaten and abused.
I can't wait for my F250 to become "mine" when my company disposes of it. Lift kit and larger tires here I come.
