I have the harness and hitch for my truck, but need to install a trailer brake. Is there a way to tie into the 7-pin plug. I have never had a truck with a trailer brake so i am new to this damn thing.

My truck came with a wire harness for a trailer brake that plugs in under the fog light button area.

There should be a harness that came with your truck, and there should be instructions with your truck that came with the harness. Your trailer brake (if you have one already) should have instructions with the wire codes. All you gotta do is match up the wires on the harness to the wires on the brake controller, then make it all look nice leaving enough wire to mount the brake where you like, and just plug it in where it needs to be plugged in (as said before near the fog light switch?).
